[cape cod mass] Workshops or classes

Hi Nancy We’re neighbors, I’m a stones throw away in South Yarmouth. I
don’t know if there’s anything going on around here, but if you had a
few hundred bucks and a free weekend [May 10+11] check out Metalwerks
Jump Start Jewelry classes. It’s two days of classes where “Students
will learn to pierce, saw, anneal, solder, file, and finish
non-ferrous metals. We will also bezel set a cabochon stone. No
previous experience necessary.”[I got that off their website].
They’re up in Woburn, just north of Boston. That particular class
costs $200 and unless you love to drive, you’d need extra for a room
in town [special rate $65 a night]and food. I’ve never been there,
but they’re on my Things To Do Before I Die list. Their website is:
http://www.metalwerx.com/ I’ll keep my ears open, and if you here of
anything going on closer to home, let me know, too. I’m yearning to
learn ;-)Linda

I’m not crazy - I’m just fascinated by shinythings!
