I have heard that camphor in the tool storage area will prevent
rust. I have been using camphor in the organizer drawers where I
store my blades. I haven’t always been diligent in replacing the
camphor as soon as it sublimes completely. I have seen some rust on
some of my blades. I use two brands: Herkules and Rio Laser Gold; the
rust seems to appear mainly on the Herkules.
My question is how effective is camphor at preventing rust?
