Camphor crystals

Hello all, The easiest and fastest way to get camphor is to buy a box
of Moth Balls, or Moth Crystals…one and the same. Also, a small
strip of paper with a tiny dot of Oil of Camphor will work as
well…just a drop. Have a great day! Gail

Mothballs and camphor are two separate things. Mothballs are very
toxic to pests and humans and I would highly recommend not using
them.

Chris in Alaska

Correct, Chris. Mothballs are paradichlorobenzene; camphor is
different, and can be found in two (totally different) forms, natural
and artificial.

Hi Again, Folks…

Agree with Chris here…Seem to remember the mothball brand I’ve
seen being paradichlorobenzine.

Used 'em in the past to make rodents change their minds about where
they want to be hanging out. (I now use peppermint essential
oil…less hazard, smells better).
