[Call for Presentation Proposals] 2009 SNAG Conference

Call for Presentation Proposals
REVOLUTION
2009 SNAG Conference
May 20-23, 2009

REVOLUTION, the 2009 SNAG conference, will take place in
Philadelphia, birthplace of the American Revolution. On our 40th
anniversary, this conference will provide the critical context to
consider the future of our profession, provide us the opportunity to
reflect upon our history, and ultimately celebrate independent
thinkers and decisive movements that have advanced our discipline.

How do we keep objects and ideas in motion, revolving and evolving?
How does a movement begin? What drives a revolutionary idea, process
or individual? The conference programming will explore meaningful
revolutions in our field. What is revolutionary?

We are seeking proposals for presentations that investigate and
provoke discourse surrounding REVOLUTION in our field from both
historical and contemporary perspectives and encourage all proposals
to define REVOLUTION.

To submit a proposal, please send an abstract describing the content
of the presentation and its relationship to the subject of the
conference, a resume, and any pertinent support materials.

If you have seen an excellent presentation that would contribute to
this critical dialogue, contact Doug Bucci and Christina Miller.

Review of all submissions will begin January 15, 2008.
