Metal Artists on the VERGE, A Showing of Jewelry and Metal Arts
Patrik Kusek and Sherry Cordova are Artists on the Verge seeking
more artists interested in participating in a pre-holiday show and
sale.
On November 17th and 18th 2007, Patrik’s Studio on Taylor Street
near Columbus Ave in San Francisco will be the site of the first
"Artists on the Verge" event. Catch the interest of early holiday
buyers and keep them happy with wine and nibbles (provided by the
artists.) Show and sale hours are 10 am - 7 pm Saturday, and 10 am -
4 pm Sunday.
Location
Patrik’s Studio is a working studio located on Taylor near Columbus
Ave in San Francisco. Situated on the border of two very high foot
traffic neighborhoods, North Beach and Fisherman’s Wharf, the studio
also catches the eyes of passengers disembarking from a cable car
stop directly in front of the studio entrance.
Eligibility
All jewelry and metal artists creating original designs are invited
to respond via email with the submission listed below. To
be considered, email your entry by 10/18/07. Priority will be given
to handcrafted work. Notification of acceptance by 10/22/07.
Submissions
Only emailed entries will be considered. Submit the following (a)
one booth photo and four jpeg digital images of completed pieces
which accurately represent work you will be selling at this show. The
image files must be 4" x 6" minimum size at 300dpi, no larger than
10MB, each, viewable on both PCs and Macs, with one image showing a
single piece. The image files must be labeled as follows:
lastname_image#.jpg, (b) Typed image list, with photos next to the
following details for each image: filename, artist name, title of the
piece, dimensions, year produced, and materials and techniques used,
© a one-page current typed resume, with current contact
including email address, (d) Booth photo with your
submission if one is available. Incomplete or late entries will not

Advertising Collateral
Professionally designed show postcards (pre-printed bulk mailing of
75 postcards with your provided list of names and addresses.) An
additional 175 postcards per artist will available for handing out
and mailing on your own, electronic calendar files, and pdf flyer for
distribution. Also an open studio banner will be displayed, an event
web page will be posted, and local hotel concierges will be contacted
to provide the Artists on the Verge postcard to their clientele. The
show organizers will advertise online in the listings of multiple
local media outlets and event sites.
Booth Space And Advertising Fee
Upon acceptance to the show and sale, a booth and advertising fee of
$100 will be due to reserve your 5’ x 4’ sales space.
