CAD jewelry design / DXF

Greetings,

As you already know we have made 2 DXF files available for those
interested in CAD jewelry design. These are simple text files ( 2-5
Kb only) to be imported into your CAD application. This is
hopefully the beginning of a modest ‘CAD Library’ which will include
software, objects, materials and backgrounds for free d/l.

Joel jkahn01@mail.orion.org has created these files using ProtoCad for DOS,
a shareware which is available for d/l from the Net. (opps…forgot the URL).

I had some problems importing these files both to AutoCad12 and
3D-Studio v4, and will appreciate if someone out there can look inside
it.

of ProtoCAD. The company which makes and sells ProtoCAD is called Trius,

From the home page, click on “downloads” & you’ll get to a list of their
software products. BTW, I’ve used a few of their other programs; either
“As Easy As” or “A-Lite” would be useful for someone who needs a simple
DOS spreadsheet for fundamental number-crunching & maybe a few graphs.
