I also agree that John B. should not worry about the problems some of us
are having with his messages. If it continues for me, I will check with my
server and/or the list server and see what might be done. Even if nothing
can be done to stop the double messages, I would never suggest that John B.
leave or be removed from this list. Hang in there John, it really is not
that big a deal…

HOWEVER!! I have no idea how my son Peter’s remarks came to be on the general
list - I sent them to Dr Aspler as a private communication, and I suppose he
thought it was my intention to publish it. It wasn’t, but I don’t suppose
that much harm has been done. I think the reason that you got Peter’s
explanation as a single message wasn’t really spooks, but because Dr Aspler
was using the aforesaid solution to the problem for Eudora users. Thanks

He just has to go to http://www.QUALCOMM.COM and get a free copy of Eudora
or choose some other E-mail program that does not send unwanted,and
unsolicited downloads to a public forum.
Try to understand,not every body is not the United States world of
plenty.His posts come in to a lot of people as downloads.Some people have
slow modems,or pay by the hour.Would you pay $10 each to recieve his
post???And 3 hours of your life when it disconnects.
