Does anyone knows where I can get a breakdown of all the media used
in buffing compounds. I know red rouge comes from hemalite, but I’ve
had students asking me what is in buffing compounds. I know there is
silica mixed with a grease binder, but I’m not having much luck
searching the Web to get a breakdown of each compound, esp for
tripoli, white diamond compound and Fabulustre.
