Brick and Mortar to Web

Hi has anyone out there taken their business from a brick and mortar shop to a web based business that would be willing to share their experiences and website?

I have moved from brick and mortar to a studio doing a combination of things. Still servicing some retail customers by appointment, doing wholesale hand engraving for about 75 stores and doing some retail from a website. The website provides the lest amount of my work but it is a great resource for my wholesale customers. I am probably going to move away from most of the retail that comes to see me face to face. But for now it is still an important ingredient. There is so much competition for customers attention online that it can be a lot of work to keep your name in front of them. But I have found some good ways to market myself to jewelry stores looking for hand engraving. Having something unique to offer is key to getting attention.
