I had the same reaction to squeegee oil. I used it for enameling.

You might find that you are allergic to MOST Salicylates. Do you get
headaches or other weird symptoms when eating peaches, berries,
apples, spices? There are lots of symptoms like vision blurring, skin
‘crawling’ feeling, hand-writing deterioration, depression, and
twitching when you slow down enough to feel it (i.e. in bed) and they
can manifest immediately or up to 4 days later. I am convinced that
“shaking leg syndrome” is part of these allergies and might be almost
cured by diet and avoiding lots of specific inhalation items, like
wintergreen. If anyone wants more info on this issue you can check
out the Feingold Diet for ADHD or contact me directly as I do not
agree with some of the things said on the site or in the recipes. And
ignore the issue that almost all the literature is directed at
children. Adults carry over their ADHD from childhood and I think
there are a disproportionate # of artists who experience this issue.
