[Boston] Jewelry attractions

I may soon be traveling to Boston. From a Jewelry perspective, what
are the don’t miss things to see? I am especially interested in
artisan/non-mass produced and historical items/reproductions.

Dear Chris,

The Museum Of Fine Arts has a wonderful jewelry collection including
Mid-Century Modern pieces.

I co-own a contemporary jewelry and fine craft gallery in Belmont,
just 8 miles outside of Boston. Both the commuter train and bus, stop
1/2 block from our door. We currently have over 50 artists, many of
whom are from the New England area.

Please introduce yourself if you get to the gallery.

All the best,

This is about fourteen full days of amazing viewing. MFA has three
restaurants and a cafe opening to a sculpture garden, ancient
Egyptian jewelry, and, modern jewelry. Do some research to locate
your special jewelry interests before the trip. Isabella Stewart
Gardner has a multi story indoor Italian garden that will take your
breath away. In your research you are likely to find over 100 pages
of award winning jewelry on display with photos and text at these
locations. The jewelry shops are an additional 50 pages of locations
and featured styles.

Have Fun! MA
