[Book] The Art of Hand Fabricated Jewelry Design

Hi all,

I found a neat little self-published book on Lulu.com. It’s called

The Art of Hand Fabricated Jewelry Design by J. Kendrick Thompson

It’s not a how to book, it’s a book with a lot of pictures of the
process of making specific jewelry pieces, for the purpose of
helping people understand the process and why jewelry costs what it
does.

The pictures are very clear. Text underneath explains what is going
on in the pictures.

As I said, it’s not a how to book, but someone who makes jewelry,
even a beginner, will understand everything. Could benefit the
beginner – a quick view of, “Oh, so that’s how you make a setting
from wire,” without reading the entire step by step in another book
if that’s not what you’re ready for.

Available as a paper book or as a download. As a download, it’s only
$3.75, so for that price, you can’t go wrong.

A really nice little book.

If you don’t get the download option with this link, just go to the
front page on Lulu and type in jewelry in the search window. There’s
more great stuff on jewelry, both industry related and diy.
