Unfortunately the jewelry industry has been impacted by the act of
terrorism here in the US. Robert Speisman, director of marketing, and
the gentleman who listened to more of my complaints than anyone else
at Lazare Kaplan Inc., was on the plane that crashed into the
Pentagon. He always went out of his way to help me with any of the
problems we had in working with his company.
