Black Titanium

#1

Hi all, I am trying to find someone who can blacken Titanium
jewellery. I understand that this is carried out by means of a
process called PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). Does anybody know
who can do this process?

Secondly, I am trying to find a supplier of 14 ct gold findings. In
particular I am looking for pendant findings suitable for calibrated
stones. As an alternative to this could anybody help with a supplier
of pendant findings wax patterns.

Hello Shaun,

Hi all, I am trying to find someone who can blacken Titanium
jewellery. I understand that this is carried out by means of a
process called PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition). Does anybody know
who can do this process?

Try to look at companies who coat tools and tool bits. They mostly
also can make the black PVD layers I have an address of a company in
the Netherlands But I have it at my other work, if you are
interested so far away. I will look it up if you want it. This PVD
process is done at a temperatures of 600 degrees Celsius, and than
electrodes are vaporising metal which will strike down on the
electrical negative made metal object.
