While I was in Tucson, I described my home-made tumbler to a few
people and got some laughs, and compliments. I thought that perhaps
my method could be useful for others, since it is inexpensive, fairly
robust, and very effective.
Materials required, a clothes dryer, a round sealable cannister that
will fit through the door, and something to wedge it into place, plus
the media to fill it.
Here’s a page on my website that describes it:
My silver knotted chain mail shirt fits into the barrel, which is
why I came up with it in the first place, but it could also be useful
for large numbers of smaller items.
