Bezels on a bracelt

Thinking out loud, is there such a device that can pattern out
the curve in order to better cut the bezel to shape? The earlier
suggestions seemed a bit labor intensive.

I use a contour gauge for some things. Seems to me it would
work on the bracelet at the point the bezel should go, though I
haven’t tried it for that.

The device is like a tight, single row of pins retained by a
bar. The pins are free to move up or down through the retaining
bar. When you press the edge of the row of pins onto a surface,
the pins move up as they contact the surface. The orientation is
held by the tension in the bar which allows you to copy the
contour and use it as a pattern and transfer it to your material.

I would reccomend simply wraping the bezel wire around the
stones to form them and then trim the bottoms to fit the contour
of the bracelet. you then would need some kind of filler
(sawdust, sand, ect.) to form a flat bottom inside the bezels on
which to set your stones (I’m assuming they are cabochons.)
Eather way, the material will conform to the shape of your
stones.
