Best refinery

Hello,

I am downsizing my business and want to send 14k gold filings, scrap,
etc. to be refined. I have used Hoover and Strong in the past and
want to find another trustworthy company to use. Does anyone have a
good recommendation?

Thanks.

Hi Carol,

I really like using G&S Metals, they are super quick and offer a
high rate for credit.

Here is their website:

When I just started in this business, I was told that refiners and
trust should not be used in the same sentence. We have to deal with
them, but we also have to acknowledge the reality.

The only way that I know it to smelt your scrap, assay it, and
either sell it based on the assay, or make them guaranty return
according to the assay. In other words, practice the principle “Trust
But Verify”.

I use NRT out of Buffalo and Dallas. Fast turn around and Good
returns! Elemetal Direct - Precious Metal Refining - Elemetal Direct

Good Luck!

Pease and Curren in Rhode Island. Excellent for mixed scrap and
bench sweeps, polishing filters etc. Call for prepaid pick up.

I have used Hoover and Strong also and found them to be a good
refiner. Recently I have been using Hi Tech in Dallas, TX. They
charge two percent on small shipments. If the pure gold settlement is
over five ounces, the charge is one and one half percent. They me
call when they receive my package and call again with the settlement
amount (usually the same day).
