Best price for Scrap Silver

Hi,

This is my first posting. I’ve been a “lurker” for some time, so here
goes… I have a large box of sterling scrap and would love to know
who gives the best price and fastest service after they receive it. I
sent a box to my favorite place in New Mexico and it sat on their dock
for over a month. Is this normal?

I have been using Garfield Refining in Philadelphia for a number of
years. They have their check to me in the mail within one or two days
after receiving my scrap. Yesterday they were paying $5.01 per Troy
onuce for Sterling scrap.
