Any suggestions where to get the best deals on stainless steel shot.
I got mine at Santa Fe Jeweler’s Supply. It is sfjssantafe.com They
were the cheapest I found a couple years ago anyway!

Was once told that stainless steel marine washers work well in tumblers however I haven't been able to locate a source.
Most any smooth metal will work as the burnishing material in a
tumbler. However, it is the size & assorted shapes of the shot that
will get into most of the nooks & crannies found on jewelry & other
small items that make it superior to most other things as a
burnishing medium.

I got mine from Rio Grande many years ago. The nice thing about
stainless is it last forever so I wouldn’t worry to terribly much
about price.
