In this new series of Bezel setting, I am aiming to introduce my
well proven methods of Bezel setting. In this first video I show my
use of a High Speed Steel setting bur. It has an angle of 90
degrees. I now show how the angle of the bur is in relation to the
ring. By tilting the bur forward, you are then cutting sections of
the bezel wall. All of these angles must match the angles of the
Oval stone. Seeing is better than words!
It is that the sound does not sync with the image.
I’m going to do a ‘test video’ & see if the sound seems a few
nanoseconds ‘off’. but I won’t be uploaded it to Orchid, just want to
see how it re-plays on my p. c. gotta resolve this now! I’m due for
some heavy-duty training sessions on the next few videos for you all.
Gotta make darn sure everything is sounding good! My next 2 films are
on ‘Gypsy Settings’.

I forget just which video of yours I last saw on the Ganoksin site,
but the sound and video were not displace by just a few nanoseconds.
The sould was more like five seconds behind the video. I just watched
it twice, paying attention to the sound enough so the second time, I
could recall what should have been on the audio at that time. But
there’s definately something odd going on. One thing I’d want to
check is whether it’s actually the video, instead of something like
an oddity in the current version of Flash, that’s messing it up.
Play the video after it’s been uploaded to a web server, so you’re
watching in on a browser over the web, as it would be from Ganoksin,
and see if it sounds right then.
