Orchid members living in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia and
in Norhtwest Washington might be interested in knowing that The B. C.
Gem & Mineral Show is scheduled for March 31st, April 1st and 2nd at
the agree Building, Central Fraser Valley Fairgrounds.
During the past decade significant finds of gem material has been
located in British
Columbia and this, the 43rd Annual Show will be featuring displays of
gemstones from these discoveries, as well as other B. C. Treasures.
There will be demonstrations of lapidary, faceting, silversmithing,
carving, enameling, casting and beading on-going throughout the show.
Dealers will be at the show with all the supplies needed for cutting
and polishing stones, faceting, silversmithing, bead stringing and
casting. As well, there are dealers with crystals, minerals and
gemstones from throughout the world.
