Designer’s High Achievement Awards
(Newcastle, Maine May 2004) The Contemporary Design Group’s Annual
Designer’s High Achievement Awards will be presented on Friday
evening, June 4, 2004, during the JCK show, at Venus in the Venetian
Complex beginning at 7:00 pm.
The Designer’s High Achievement Awards honor the best in the
Designer Jewelry industry. As the members of the Contemporary Design
Group vote for the winner in each category, the High Achievement
Awards are truly an award from one’s peers. Awards are presented for
Designer of the Year, Best Designer Supplier, Best Designer Retailer,
and Best Designer Advocate. This year, designer Michael Good will
receive the highly coveted Hall of Fame Award. The Contemporary
Design Group will also honor the late Kyriakos Somos, a long time
member ofthe association.
Established in 1989, the Contemporary Design Group is a national
association of Professional Jewelry Designers and Affiliates
dedicated to the promotionof creative jewelry design. We pursue this
goal by building relationships between our members and the jewelry
community through collaborative marketing, social events and
sharing. We are committed to maintaining the highest
standards of integrity and ethics in business and design.
