Avoiding mistakes when choosing rolling mills

Just received my economy mill from Contenti. Looks nearly exactly
like the Karat mill, or is close enough to one as no latter.

It came with instructions for changing the rolls, and it took me only
an hour to do that the very first time. The gears were a little tough
to remove, I needed a few light taps with the hammer to solve that
problem. Also, when changing the springs, hold the spring closest to
the large gear with a needlenose, otherwise it will slip out of your
hands and vanish into the gear housing. I’m so glad they shipped a
spare pair of springs.

I bought 1/2 inch hex bolts to bolt it to my wood desk. It looks nice
with the green paint job it has. I’m really looking foward to making
wire with it.
