Thanks to Karen I was able to confirm that Attack and liquid
paint stripper are the same thing, methylene chloride.

Attack costs $5.00 per 1/2 pint Liquid paint stripper (not the
semi-paste) costs $5.00 per QUART.

I get it at Ace Hardware (Ace is the place man).

I’ve been using Acetone to remove the pearls from settings. It
works very very slowly. Does methylene chloride work any
faster? By the way,over the years,I’ve tried the heat thing and
every once in a while , I overheat and ruin the pearl.
