Someone mentioned Spirflame torches and that just made me wonder:
are any Orchid members located in Springfield, Massachusetts?
(Spirflame have an office there.) I grew up there and still have a
very strong sentimental attachment to the place, even though it’s
been on a downward spiral ever since the late 60’s and is now in
very dire straits. But, I recently overheard a community
development-type say that it was ripe for development, and that has
sparked some thoughts of the old home town.
Write to me off list if you can tell me anything about the arts in
Springfield.
