To All, Please take note and spread the word that The Boca Raton
Museum Art School, an affiliate of the Boca Raton Museum of Art in
Boca Raton, Florida will reopen 15 Oct 01 after a complete
rennovation. Of possible interest to those on this web site is the
Art Jewelry program which includes lapidary, silversmithing,
enameling glass on metal for adults and children’s jewelry classes.
The Lapidary course, instructed by Mr. Don Dietz, will be cabochon
gemstone cutting from novice to intermediate levels. This is a new
class and cutting will be performed on state-of-the-art GemTec
lapidary equipment.
Silversmithing, instructed by Susan Lewis, includes beginning through
advanced techniques in both fabrication and Precious Metal Clay.
Enameling: Glass on Metal is taught by Hanna Baer
The Children’s Jewelry Class, instructed by Mila Woods
