I’ve worked in palladium and like it. It’s also nice to set. There
are times when it’s useful. Half the price of gold and a nice white
metal when cost is an issue. I have a favorite ring I wear often.
It’s palladium and CZs. Looks like a million bucks. I lock up my
good stuff and wear that when traveling or hanging out in unsavory
places. Yup. Some of my favorite places are unsavory. Some of my
favorite people too.

Judy in Kansas, who is inspired to get the Christmas decor back into
storage. Looks like the outdoor lights will have to wait until
spring as the next winter storm comes barreling through.
I understand about the plating thing. I don’t like it either and you
don’t have to plate white gold if you don’t want to, leave it a
warmer white.
Palladium gets pitty has problems with finishing. I have repaired
some with a laser welder and had luck. Gold is just nice to work
with. Nobel you might say. Even white. Just another alloy. All
metallurgy and science.
A few months ago, I hunted exhaustively, and no one had palladium
tubing, including those companies. I will check again when I am back
at work on Wednesday.
