I am interested in anodizing aluminum. Are there any
instructional books? Suppliers? must you use a special alloy of
aluminum? Many other questions since I have never done this.
Hopefully someone in Orchid land has experience. Thanks for any
help.

There are both. Get the book and video, “Artists Annodizing
Aluminum” by David La Plantz, from Rio Grande or directly from
David. The video is currently on clearance at Riogrande.com fro
$9.24. I haven’t seen the video, but I’m sure it’s great. The
book is very good and clear.
I did annodizing in college. It’s very easy. It’s also (IMO)
dangerous without really good ventilation. (Which we didn’t have
in college, but I didn’t yet know to be concerned.) I
personally wouldn’t do it at home.
