Announcing the 1999 Annual Jade Festival:

The Annual Jade Festival will be held at Pacific Valley School on
October 8, 9 & 10. Jade Festival hours are Friday: 12:00 noon to
5:00pm, Saturday and Sunday: 9:00am to 5:00pm. Saturday night will
feature a party and live band. BBQ food is offered each day so you
do not have to pack a lunch or dinner. There is no admission charge.
Proceeds from the BBQ go to the local community.

Pacific Valley School is one driveway north of Plaskett Creek
Campground. Plaskett Creek Campground is a National Forest
Campground and is located approximately 57 miles South of Monterey on
Highway 1. There will be signs on Highway 1 so you can’t miss it.

David & Catherine Clayton drc@ccnet.com will have a variety of
rough and finished Jade from Siberia, Canada and California in the
booth. We have jade rough for everyone ranging from 50 cents a pound
to $250 a pound. Also in the booth will be jade sculptures and signed
books from world renown jade sculptor Don Wobber.

Carol Bova <@Carol_J_Bova> is bringing an eclectic assortment of
lapidary materials including Laguna agate, Horse Canyon agate, velvet
rainbow obsidian, opal, picture jaspers, cat’s eye tourmaline, fire
agate and lots more, Booth 19.

Month Club love minerals and enjoy sharing their knowledge. They will
have a broad range of mineral specimens and other lapidary items from
all over the world at Booth 18 at the Jade Festival! See you there!
