A short time ago, we had a good deal of discussion regarding
bolting rolling mills. DH gave me one as a Christmas present.
A friend is making a storagestand/rolling mill stand for me. In
the mean time, I have it on a wooden table. I placed a piece of
that rubber-like backing that keeps rugs from skidding under it.
It stays put quite nicely. The mill can still rock, however,
so the metal must be annealed adequately. The backing that I
used is a thick weave and was purchased at Walmart for a few dollars.
