AJM & LJ articles

Hi Suzanne,

Just finished reading the latest AJM.

When I noticed the article on paste solder, I said, “This I’ve got to
read!”. I make lots of chain so there’s always a couple of syringes of
paste on my bench. Imagine my surprise when I saw some of my words
quoted. It really gave me a shot in the arm. When I started to read
the article, I’d forgotten about our discussion some time ago.

The same surprise appeared when I read your ‘gold’ piece in LJ.

Thanks for unxpected boost to the ego.

Dave Arens

PS. Hope the baby’s doing fine!

David,

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad you were pleased by
the results. It’s me who should be thanking you, for being so generous
with your knowledge!

My son, who will be 2 in August, is experimenting with tantrums. I
can cope with that most of the time, but it’s really frustrating when
the problem is he’s had so much fun playing with the neighbor that he
doesn’t want to leave! I could live without having to carry a
screaming child home every couple of days.

Of course, my patience may be a bit thinner than usual: I’m three
months pregnant with our second child. Heaven help me! Every time Eric
goes into full screaming mode, I can’t help but wonder what I was
thinking!

Ah, well… the joy Eric brings to my life far outweighs the
headaches – or so I keep telling myself.

Thank you for asking, and thanks again for the kind words!

Hi Suzanne,

Aren’t 2 yr olds fun?! Our grandson was 2 in Mar. We get to baby sit
him 2 or 3 days a week when our daughter is out of town (she’s a
flight attendant). So far we’ve been fortunate, no real tantrums. But
they really know what they like/want at that age.

Good luck with the new baby.

Sorry my post went out to Orchid, I fat fingered the kybd, That’s the
trouble with the net, once it’s gone, you can’t get it back.
