I am looking for craft shows in areas of the country(u.s.) where an
african american clientele is in the area of 50%+. This includes
Jazz festivals with crafts. Does anyone have familiarity of any
quality shows in the area of washingtondc, atlanta, florida,
boston, chicago, etc.,with regards to this query?? dp

dp, There is a large African Crafts Market in L.A every summer for
going on 10 or 15 years. (Runs for 6 or 8 weekends.)

I have attended as an interested individual many times, and it looks
to me to be quite successful.

You would have to talk to some vendors, to see if my perception is
correct.

I only know one vendor personally, and it was NOT good for him, but,
if you’re interested in a major show like that, contact me, and I’ll

Here in Gainesville, there is the annual 5th Avenue Arts Festival,
which is in a historically Black neighborhood. It’s pretty popular,
and usually gets a good turnout.
