Staples is giving away a FREE copy of QuickBooks Pro 2009 on Monday
December 22, 2009, in the store only!

As a QuickBooks pro advisor I get advanced notice about events from
QuickBooks. I think from what I’ve seen this is a Staples (office
supply chain) effort to drive traffic to the store on Monday. They
are
giving away for free a 2009 copy of QuickBooks pro. Here it is in a
nutshell.

  1. Only available in the store

  2. You pay $199.00 for the copy

  3. You get an instant at the register savings of $40, so you really
    pay $159.99, and send in a $159.99 mail in rebate.

  4. Weeks later you get your rebate and you’ve paid ZERO.

  5. You will have to pay sales tax if your state charges it. Sales tax
    is not free.

  6. Monday only, Dec 22, 2008, in store, at Staples.

Thanks David,

I got mine bright and early ths morning. The sales people at Staples
did not even know what I was talking about. I had to walk then
through it. So for about $11 in taxes I got a very good deal. Better
yet my wife is an accountant and they use this software were she
works.
