A Good Refiner?

I have a few pounds of scrap. (dental gold, silver, old gold, etc.)
Where can I send it & not get ripped off? How should I package it,
inventory it? Should I take pictures? Weigh little bags of it?

I was told Pease & Curren (peas and carrots?) was a good company.
Anybody ever use them? I’m just tired of doing it myself and want to
job it out.

Thanx!
Ray

I have been using United Precious Metals in Alden NY for many years
and have been VERY satisfied. Quick turn-around time and fair
refining charges. Their number is 1-800-999-FINE. Check them out. Ted

Don’t take life to seriously – you’ll never live throught it…

Two reputable refiners in the US aRe: Hauser and Miller in St Louis
MO (hauserandmiller.com) & Hoover and Strong in Richmond VA
(hooverandstrong.com). They’ve both been in business for a lot of
years & are well respected.

If you go to their web sites you can find suggestions on packaging.

You might try Ross Metals. Call them at 1-800-334-7194. That is the
refining department. They can answer all your questions and they
have the neccessary shipping containers.

I haven’t used them but according to some of my contacts in the
precious metals industry they have a good reputation.
