22k coin vs. casting grain

I have a job to produce multiples of a ring in 22k. I’ve used
Kugarands in the past to alloy down to 14k and have always been
pleased with the results. I’ve never cast using Kugarands only
without alloying and I was wondering if I would be better off using
22k casting grain. I’m not that familiar with using 22k for a
product. I’ve always looked at it as being a little too soft for
rings. It’s what the customer wants though, I figure if I tumble it
that it will be somewhat work hardened. Any sugestions about using
coin or casting grain would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rick Barnes
