14KGODG Quality mark

I just bought a lot of assorted jeweler’s tools from an estate sale.
In among all the tools were some boxes of findings and omega chains.
Some of the findings were marked with ( 14KGODG ) I have never seen
this mark. Does anyone familiar with this marking? It seems like
it’s plated.

Thanks

This quality mark means “14k Gold over dental gold” Dental gold is
basically gold with unknown karatage, which is generally in the
range of 14-16k, but can be lower or higher. It may contain alloy
metals that are not seen in traditional jewelry gold.
